In the context ofVenice Jazz Festival #15 organized by Veneto Jazz, here is an international appointment with three musicians from Argentina for the "open air" part of the festival on the beautiful terrace on the foundations of Cannaregio, on the edge of the canal of the same name, in synergy with Laguna Libre, Eco restaurant and World Jazz Club, the official jazz club of the festival.

The ESTEBAN MAXERA TRIO proposal mixes various South American and funk musical genres, using the language of jazz and improvisation as platforms to develop Esteban's compositions, the bassist. The trio is from Rosario, Argentina. In the previous European tour the trio performed at Summerjazz in Cádiz (Spain) sharing the stage with the Spanish pianist Chano Domínguez. The last album sees the special participation of the legendary Uruguayan pianist Hugo Fattoruso (Grammy Award winner in 2019) and Thiago Espírito Santo on guitar (Brazilian musician). On this European summer tour they will also play Norway for the first time.

Come da tradizione  i concerti del VJF  sulla fondamenta di Cannaregio saranno fruibili  gustando una buona e sana cena.

Un métissage tra musica e cibo che rappresenta una vera e propria proposta inter-culturale. Una gustosa opportunità per musicisti ed appassionati di musica, per gli abitanti di Venezia e terraferma ma anche per il turismo di qualità che si aspetta una città vivace e inserita nei circuiti europei e mondiali della cultura e della musica. Quest’anno collabora a questa azione di valorizzazione culturale della fondamenta di Cannaregio attraverso la musica  anche il ristorante “agli archi”.

Al laguna libre la prenotazione del tavolo è possibile solo per la cena dalle ore 20.00 ed è richiesto un contributo per i musicisti sulla cena (o sulla 1° consumazione di bevande) di €8.
